Atlantic Shrink Wrapping, Inc was commissioned to shrink wrap for the US Coast Guard. The project: to shrink wrap a temporary scaffolding building around a US Coast Guard ship named, the “Tiger Shark”. This project came with a strict timeline and a need for precision and accuracy. Atlantic Shrink Wrap got the job done.
The scaffolding building was 40ft tall, 105ft long and 40 ft wide. This temporary scaffolding building was built around the “Tiger Shark” to create a controlled environment to allow crews to sand blast and re-paint the ship. Because time was limited our professional ASI crew worked as a team with the scaffolding company to get the job completed by the deadline. Once the scaffolding was complete the ASI crew only had 2 days to complete their job. Battling intense winds, our team put in 18.5 hr days to get the shrink wrap structure complete.
ASI is a proud to work for the US military. ASI’s hard work on allowed the Coast Guard crews to continue their maintenance work on the Tiger Shark for 6 weeks despite record low temperatures.
