Commercial and industrial items are often times thought of as rough and tough, and while they are to a point, they are not in operation during transportation. When a large industrial item needs to be protected, shrink wrap is the solution.

We Can Handle Any Project – Big or Small, Around the World
No matter what the size of the item, where it’s located or where it needs to go, shrink wrap can protect it. Shrink Wrap does a great job no matter if it’s for outside storage or for transport purposes. ASI has wrapped items for transport; which may not have appeared like a good candidate for plastic installation or expected to survive the transport down the highway at 65 mph, but did.
In over 10 years of service, we have NEVER had a single shrink wrap cover fail!
This is where our expertise comes in. Most any shrink wrapping company can make the job look good at first, but when it shreds due to cheap materials, or bad installation techniques, your project is a complete failure.

Protection for Shrink Wrap Items
The first major consideration in shrink wrapping is padding the item to help protect it from the plastic or the heat used to install the plastic. This padding also protects the plastic from sharp points or areas that can damage the plastic. If the plastic gets a hole in it after the job is complete, then the job is a failure.
ASI uses many different types of padding to ensure that the item is protected. Some of our padding is simple foam, and in other cases it may be industrial strength bubble wrap or both. Some of our competitors will try to save money by using things like old carpet pieces or cardboard to pad an item. At ASI, we do it right with new and professional padding.

Another important consideration is securing the plastic to the item. If the item cannot be lifted, then we must find a way to secure the plastic to the base. There are easy ways to do this but they are not always the correct ways, and they do not always last!
We find the best way possible to secure the plastic so that it creates a strong and long lasting wrap. When an item can be lifted we use our unique “cocoon” wrap so that the item is protected 360 degrees.

Last but not least, consider the type of materials being used. ASI has learned that using the best material available far outweighs the cost difference of using cheap material; therefore ensuring the best product & ultimately saving time and money.
