Marine
Professional Shrink Wrapping Services for the Marine and Boating Industry. Shrink wrapping boats is big here in the mid-Atlantic states for good reason. Our winters can either make or break a boaters next season. When boats are properly wrapped they stay clean and dry and are in much better shape come spring. But not anyone can shrink wrap a boat properly. You have to be committed to doing the whole boat and not just parts of it . You can look around a boat yard that has several different contractors doing shrink wrap and see the difference.
Some boats still have their canvas up, some don't have any vents in them to allow fresh air into the boat, and others dont even come all the way down the sides of the boat. These things all make the job complete. Professional shrink wrappers know that a big part of the job is in the little details. We have the experience to pay attention to details, and every boat we wrap shows it.
- Marine Shrink Wrapping consists of boats that are ready to be stationary for winter storage.
- Support systems are installed to make all rain, snow, and ice run off the plastic and this support system has to be strong enough to withstand heavy weight loads.
- Our Shrink Wrap is brought all the way down the sides of the boat to cover as much of the boat as possible

Marine "Bullet Wraps"
- "Bullet Wraps" Are boats that are going to be towed on the open road and must be wrapped to keep down wind resistance.
- "Bullet Wraps" use strapping but no prop system.
- Like all commercial wraps, thicker, stronger materials are used to combat high winds from road towing.

Transport
These machines were being shipped overseas and needed to be "cocoon wrapped" 360 degrees after being strapped to the transport trailer. Each piece was wrapped separate. Many Maryland , Delaware , Pennsylvania,, and New York companies shrink wrap products and ship them through various ports.
This is the first stage of the wrap.
Moisture bags were put inside the wrap to help fight surface rusting. (The new VCI shrink wrap films on the market would be great for this kind of application.) Forming the shrink wrap to such a odd shape takes a lot of skill and determination to make it as tight as possible. These machines were completed in one day and made it overseas with no problems .

This flight simulator was shipping down south to have work continued on it . When it first came to the shop where we wrapped it , it was a different size. No crating changes necessary here . Just a bigger piece of plastic. It needed to be able to withstand a lot of wind due to it's size and how much it stuck out from the truck that was hauling it. Extra care was taken to support the wrap properly to fight the road winds. It had to travel half way across the country and did it with no problems.
